Handyman Service Across Eugene, OR

Eugene spreads across the flat floor of the southern Willamette Valley and up into the hills on its south side, a city of roughly 178,000 people built where the Willamette River bends north and the McKenzie joins it just downstream. Its neighborhoods read like a timeline of how the town grew. Around downtown and the University of Oregon, the Whiteaker, Jefferson Westside, Fairmount and the Friendly Area hold early 1900s bungalows, small cottages and period revival houses with plaster walls, fir floors and porches that have seen a hundred winters. After the war, the city stretched north and west into Bethel, River Road, Santa Clara and Cal Young, with block after block of single-story ranch homes on generous lots. The South Hills went up next, with split-levels and contemporaries tucked into oak and fir on steep streets. Today new apartments, townhomes and infill houses fill the gaps everywhere. In a single day we might re-hang a door in a 1920s Friendly Area cottage and then mount a TV in a three-year-old townhouse off Crescent Avenue.

Daily life in Eugene runs along a few familiar routes: I-5 and I-105 on the east side, the Beltline arcing across the north end, the Delta Highway, and Coburg Road and the Ferry Street Bridge carrying traffic across the river. The Ruth Bascom riverbank paths, Alton Baker Park, Skinner Butte, Amazon Park and the Ridgeline Trail give the city its green edges, and on home game days the area around Autzen Stadium fills up fast. We plan our routes around all of it.

What Eugene neighbors book most

Jobs we handle a lot in Eugene

A typical Eugene week covers a lot of ground: plaster cracks in older homes, doors and windows that stick once the rain soaks in, gutters stuffed with fir needles and big-leaf maple leaves, moss scrubbed off shaded walks and steps, fence posts replaced where clay soil rotted them out, ceiling fans added in upstairs bedrooms that bake in July, and turnover punch lists for landlords between tenants.

Questions we hear around Eugene

Do you cover all of Eugene?

Yes. That includes the Whiteaker, downtown, Jefferson Westside, the Friendly Area, Fairmount, Laurel Hill, the West University and South University areas, the South Hills, Amazon, Churchill, Bethel, Trainsong, River Road, Santa Clara, Cal Young, Harlow and the Ferry Street Bridge side. If you have a Eugene address, we've almost certainly worked a few blocks away.

Do you work on the older houses near downtown and campus?

All the time. Many homes in Jefferson Westside, Fairmount and the Friendly Area still have lath and plaster, original fir trim, single-pane windows and hardware that's been painted over a dozen times. We repair those houses with materials that bond to old plaster, take care not to chip or split old trim, and match finishes so the repair doesn't stand out.

Can you help after an ice storm or windstorm?

Yes. After events like the January 2024 ice storm, we help with the cleanup that follows: re-hanging gutters pulled loose by ice, fixing fence sections and gates knocked down by falling limbs, patching ceiling stains from roof leaks once the roof itself is repaired, and getting doors and storm doors working again. Call early, because those weeks fill up quickly.

Areas We Roll Through

We're based in Eugene and work the whole city plus the towns around it, roughly a 20-mile reach across the south end of the Willamette Valley. That runs from Junction City and Coburg in the north, east through Springfield to Thurston, and up into the South Hills.

The Eugene Way of Doing Business

Made for Valley Weather

Eugene's rain arrives in a long, patient season from October into May, then the valley turns dry and, more and more often, hot. Moss, swollen wood, clogged gutters and slow leaks are what wear houses down here, so we choose exterior-grade fasteners, seal cut ends and joints, and build repairs to come through a wet winter and a hundred-degree July in one piece.

A Price You See First

Before any work begins, you get a plain number, worked out from a few photos or a short walk-through. Nothing gets padded and no mystery charges show up at the end. When a job turns out easier than it looked, the price drops, and if we open something up and find a bigger problem, we stop and talk with you before going further.

One Visit, Whole List

There's no need to call a separate person for every small chore. Give us the full list and we'll show up with a loaded van and work through it in order: the door that drags, the toilet that runs, the shelf that needs hanging, the downspout that dumps water against the foundation. Our licensed electricians and plumbers handle the wiring and plumbing pieces in the same booking.

Local and Easy to Reach

We work in Eugene and Springfield every week and know the roads, the weather and the houses. When we give you an arrival window, we keep it, and if traffic on the Beltline or Ferry Street Bridge holds us up, you'll hear from us. After the job, we're still a phone call away if anything needs another look.

Getting Started Is Simple

Tell us what's nagging you

Call, text a photo, or send the form. A sentence and a snapshot is plenty — we'll ask if we need more.

Say yes to a clear price

You'll see the number before we load the trailer. Approve it, pick a time, and that's the whole negotiation.

Enjoy a shorter list

We arrive when we said, do the work carefully, tidy up, and walk you through it before we wave goodbye.
